Larne take on Linfield in the ToalsBet.Com Senior Shield final at Seaview on Tuesday, at 7.45pm. Tiernan Lynch’s men are the holders of the trophy and they will take on the reigning League Champions in a bid to keep it that way. Below is all you need to know about the game

Tickets & Travel

Tickets are required for this game, and there are small number of tickets which have been available for the Larne end. Larne fans have been allocated both the North (Main) Stand and Harry Corry Stand, at the Railway end of the ground for the decider. There are also a small number of terrace tickets available for the area between both stands.

Those entering the North Main Stand make their way in from the Shore Road end, while those with tickets in the Harry Corry Stand, enter via St Vincent Street.

There will be special Matchday offers and promotions at 1889 from 5pm for those setting off from Inver Park.

The Opposition  

Linfield comes into the game as Danske Bank Premiership leaders. David Healy’s men have also defeated Ards, Dundela and Cliftonville to reach this season’s decider. The Windsor Park outfit have won the Shield on 43 occasions, but have to go back to the 2016/17 season for their most recent success in the competition.

The Inver Reds 

Larne come into the game with three consecutive wins under their belt, in league and cup action. Tiernan Lynch’s side are also the holders of the competition after defeating Glentoran on penalties in last season’s showpiece after a 0-0 draw played at Seaview. Tiernan Lynch’s men defeated Glentoran, Ballymena United and Ballyclare Comrades to make tonight’s game. New signing Lee Bonis is eligible to play after signing at the weekend.
