This weekend sees the Invermen play their final game before the Danske Bank Premiership split with Mick McDermott’s Glentoran the opponents in a 7.30pm kick off at the Oval, on Friday evening.
Tickets and Entry
Friday night’s game will once again be played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 restrictions, however BBC Sport NI will be providing a livestream enabling supporters to watch the game live.

A stream of Friday night’s game will be available for all supporters and will be broadcast live both on the BBC Sport NI website, and BBC iPlayer.
The Opposition
Glentoran moved up to 2nd in the Danske Bank Premiership table after an impressive two goal victory against Cliftonville at Solitude on Tuesday. The Glens are unbeaten in their last nine games having won six of these in the process and have the best defensive record in the league so far having only conceded 27 goals in their 32 games to date.
The Inver Reds
Tiernan Lynch’s men will be looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing defeat against Portadown at Shamrock Park on Tuesday evening. Conor Devlin also joined Albert Watson, Lee Lynch and Graham Kelly on the injury list after he was forced off at half-time, to add to the frustration off Tuesday’s defeat.
Last Time Out
It was honours even the last time these two sides met in league action back in January. Jeff Hughes put the Invermen ahead midway through the first half after he bundled the ball into the back of the net following a trademark Marty Donnelly delivery. Robbie McDaid was the man who ensured a point for the Glens when he slotted home just two minutes into the second half to leave the final score 1-1.
