Under 10s
Larne 3-7 St. Mary’s
It was the first match at 9 a-side for the under 10s and it proved difficult at times. It took a while for them to find their shape and St. Mary’s scored 4 in the first half. Larne grew in the second half and put up a good fight. They scored three goals through Amber O’Toole, Ellie McLean, and Paisleigh Baird. The opposition coach named Amber as the player of the match as she was a constant threat in the second half.

2012 Team
Larne 2-4 Crusaders
This was the first time the 2012 girls stepped up to play 7 aside and they made an excellent start. They were composed in possession, showed great work-rate without the ball, and continuously worked the ball forward. The girls played out from the back and had a positive progressive style of play throughout. This is what they had been working on in training and it showed. Despite the defeat, it was clear to see an understanding of the game developing. A special mention to Bella who just gets better and more confident each week. Jodie deserves praise for her forward-thinking and goal, as does Roxy for her goal. Ruby and Anna formed a great defensive partnership and India and Annie were generals in the midfield. Great performances all around!

After dominating the first half Larne took the lead through Eva McKee. They doubled their lead before half time with a goal from Sophie Aiston. Hannah McClenaghan and Callee Burgess came close but were kept out by the Carnmoney keeper.

Under 12s
Larne 3-3 Antrim
Larne fell behind early on when they failed to clear their lines and let Antrim in for an easy goal. They responded well to going behind and equalised through Teagan Gribben. In the second half, a mistake let Antrim regain the lead. The Larne girls fought back again and Katie Monaghan scored to level the game. The Larne girls kept on pushing for the win and got their third from Imogen McComiskey. She scored her first goal for the club with 5 minutes to go. However, Antrim found a late equaliser at the end

Under 16s
Larne 0-2 Crusaders
The under 16s played some great football and had a few chances but could not find the net. Crusaders scored on the brink of half-time and caught the Larne defense sleeping. Aside from the defeat, there were a lot of positives to draw upon.
