William Noble named as Head of Women’s Recruitment

We are delighted to announce the appointment of William Noble as Head of Recruitment within the club’s women’s football structure.

The appointment comes as part of an exciting restructure of the women’s football area of the club and will allow Noble to oversee all areas of recruitment at senior and academy level, aiming to bring the best female talent to Inver Park as the club builds on a competitive first season in the NIFL Women’s Premiership.

Noble, who has been involved within the local women’s game for many years, played a pivotal role in re-establishing Larne Ladies under the umbrella of Larne Football Club in February 2018.

Then in the role as first team manager, the Larne-native led his hometown team from the bottom tier of NIWFA’s football structure to Northern Ireland’s top-flight as NIWFA Championship winners in a remarkable rise consisting of four promotions in just five seasons.

Ahead of the club’s inaugural Women’s Premiership campaign, Noble took up the position as Head of Women’s Football and supported the first team to a 7th place finish during the 2023 season.

Now taking up the role as Head of Recruitment, Noble believes the position will allow him to focus on a key area to support the growth of women’s football at Inver Park. He said:

“I’m really pleased to be taking up the new role as Head of Recruitment going into the 2024 season. During my time at Inver Park, I have found recruiting players to be something which I have enjoyed, and it has proven to be a key area in our success over the last five years. To be able to focus my energy solely on this area will give the club the best chance of bringing in the correct talent as we aim to improve on last season and become a force within the Women’s Premiership.

“Our rise from the bottom of Northern Irish football to NIFL’s top tier has been well documented, however we are just getting started and the work being carried out since the close of the 2023 season has the potential to revolutionise women’s football at club level in Northern Ireland.

“We want Inver Park to be a place where Northern Ireland’s best talent want to come and fulfil their potential, and I will be working as hard as ever to play my part in making this happen.”
