White Collar Boxing: All you need to know

Inver Park is set to host its first-ever boxing show on Saturday (17th June), as Larne Golden Gloves’ annual White Collar Boxing Show takes place on the pitch.

The event is set to be the biggest community boxing show in Northern Ireland and is always a popular night out each year for spectators.

Below is all of the information about the event – including start times, bar facilities, post-fight entertainment and more.

TICKETING

Limited tickets remain available and can be purchased at www.larnefc.com/tickets, costing £15 per person.

Remaining tickets can be purchased for Blocks D and E of the Main Stand, while the McKay Stand is currently sold out. The boxing ring will be placed on the pitch in front Blocks D and E, meaning that those yet to purchase are still guaranteed an excellent view on the night. Hard copy tickets will be available to purchase via a cash gate on the night and will be required for entry into any area of the stadium.

START TIMES

1889 Sports & Social Club will be open pre-event from 5pm on Saturday night. Larne Golden Gloves’ will warm-up the show with a selection of amateur fights at 6pm, with the white collar show beginning at 7pm.

BAR & FOOD FACILITIES

There will be a multi-bar service in operation around Inver Park on the night, to ensure that spectators are served as fast as possible. Bars can be found in the following areas:

– Main Indoor Bar (1889 Sports & Social Club)

– Outdoor Bar in Fanzone (Behind Blocks D & E)

– Outdoor Bar in McKay Stand

– Dream Spanish Homes Agnew Lounge (VIPs Only)

Alongside our four operational bars, food truck(s) will be accessible to spectators who wish to grab a snack throughout the night.

ENTERTAINMENT

1889 Sports & Social Club will have the music blasting from 5pm before the event for those wishing to get in early. Following the conclusion of the main event at approximately 11pn, DJ Kris P will keep the entertainment going until close at our after party in 1889 Sports & Social Club.

FIGHT CARD

The Larne Golden Gloves’ event will be headlined by a mega fight between Luke Burford and Jack Dick. The two experienced white collar fighters match up in a highly anticipated clash of styles which ensures fireworks to close the show. The full fight card is near completion, with below fights announced so far. Further fights will be announced closer to the event and can be found on the Larne Golden Gloves Facebook page.

CAR PARKING

The car park within Inver Park will be closed from 5pm on Saturday. Spectators are asked to use the parking facilities in areas around the stadium, and to be mindful of local residents when doing so.

OFFICIAL CHARITY

This year’s White Collar Boxing event is proudly supporting the Big C Foundation NI. The local charity aims to raise funds for children with cancer in Northern Ireland in memory of young Callum Rennie who sadly passed away in 2022. Those attending on Saturday night will be able to donate towards the worthy cause via bucket collections around the stadium.
