FIRST team manager Tiernan Lynch has confirmed that three of his squad will not be returning next season, while a further player available for loan.

Benny Igiehon, Paddy McNally and Darren Stuart have not had their contracts renewed, with David Scullion now available for a loan move.

All three played a significant role in helping the club to secure the Bluefin Sport Championship in the 2018/19 season.

Benny arrived at the club last summer, although due to registration issues was only available to play since January, while Paddy McNally signed for the club last July from Carrick Rangers.

Darren Stuart brings to an end his second stay at the club, having finished top goalscorer in the 2017/18 season, despite having his campaign cut short by injury in January.

Commenting on the departures, Tiernan Lynch said: “This is always the most difficult part of being a manager.

“I want to place on record my sincere thanks to all three players who will be moving on.

“I have praised the professionalism and dedication of the players throughout the season and that very much includes Benny, Paddy and Darren.

“At the end of every season, and particularly when you have been promoted to the Premiership you have to constantly assess what you have and what you feel you need and this summer is no different.

“The players leaving do so with our thanks for what they helped us achieve last season and we wish them nothing but good things in the future.

“David Scullion is a fantastic professional, who has been there and done it in the Irish League.

“He has been nothing but great for us in these last two seasons, and we just feel that it would be beneficial for everyone if he is able to secure a loan move and regular football for next season.”

Everyone at the club places on record their thanks to Benny, Paddy and Darren and wishes them the very best for the future.
