Tiernan Lynch’s men shaping up for Movember challenge!

Oct 29, 2020 | Archive

Larne Football Club is delighted to announce that Tiernan Lynch’s men will be taking part in this year’s Movember Challenge – and we need your support!

Through the month of November a number of our first team stars will be aiming to make an impressive addition to their top lip and – with your help – we can turn it into an opportunity to raise money for our official charity, Brighter Futures.

The Challenge

The aim of the challenge is to raise money and awareness of a range of men’s health issues. This annual challenge involves the growing of a moustache throughout the month of November, with any money raised being donated to charity.

The First Team

Members of the senior men’s squad will be taking part in the ‘Movember’ challenge throughout the upcoming month. We will be posting weekly updates on the progress of the squad throughout the month to keep track on how the team are doing.

The Red And White Army can also take part in this challenge, and we are suggesting a donation of £10 to our Just Giving page using the following link – https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/larnefootballclub and if any supporters want to send their weekly progress they can send updates to alecsteward@larnefc.com and we will showcase those throughout the month as well.

The money raised through the challenge will be donated through Brighter Futures to local charities. In line with the challenge rules, the money will go to local mental health and cancer charities.
