We are delighted to announce the addition of three new members of the club’s board, as well as the appointment of a new vice chairman.

Neil Clarke, who joined the club’s board of directors in the summer of 2020 has been taken on the role of vice chair, following Andrew Scullion’s resignation in August. He will also continue on in his role of secretary.

We are also delighted to welcome Janice Hagan, David McAleese and James McIlroy, who have all been co-opted on to the board.

Janice brings with her a wealth of experience in the Human Resources world and has already been working hard within this area at the club.

David, a solicitor who lives and works in the town, is also a coach in our girls Academy and grows his involvement at the club by now becoming a director.

James McIlory is a former elite sports person, having competed in the Commonwealth and Olympic Games and has been instrumental in the hugely successful Antrim Coast Half Marathon in recent years, receiving a BEM for services to athletics.

Chairman Gareth Clements said: “I want to welcome all three new members of our board and say how much I am looking forward to working with them in the time ahead.

“Each of Janice, David and James bring with them additional skills to the talent we already have on our board at present.

“All three of them will certainly add value to the club in the months and years to come and help us to make the progress on and off the pitch we are all striving for.

“I also want to congratulate Neil on his appointment as vice chair. He gets through a lot of work on the club’s behalf and we are delighted to see him accept this role after Andrew’s departure.”
