We can confirm that forward Thomas Maguire has joined Dungannon Swifts on a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old leaves Inver Park to sign a two-year contract with Rodney McAree’s side, concluding an eight month stay at the Invermen. During this period, Maguire claimed a Co. Antrim Shield and NIFL Premiership double as part of the 2022/23 playing squad that obtained legendary status for securing a first-ever top-flight title.
Following his arrival in December 2022, Maguire often made his appearances from the substitutes bench, gaining a reputation amongst supporters as a player capable of inflicting pace and directness into a game from the wide position.
Maguire will join Larne forward Matty Lusty at The Swifts, the latter player on loan at Stangmore Park for the duration of the 2023/24 season.
