FREE TICKETS MADE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL FAMILIES

AHEAD of this Monday’s crunch Sports Direct Premiership tie with Linfield at Windsor Park, Larne supporter Raymond Hill and his family have made an offer to the local community by pledging to cover the cost of match tickets for three Larne families to attend what could be a memorable night for the town.

As the race for the Gibson Cup reaches peak temperature, a Larne victory on Monday would secure a second successive league title, while a draw or Linfield win would result in the title race going down to the final game of the season.

Keen to ensure that the cost is not a barrier to attending the game, Raymond and the other Season Ticket holders within his family have, between them, kindly purchased enough tickets for three households as a show of thanks to the local community who have supported him since being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The 12 match tickets which have been purchased will be given away on a first come, first serve basis to those who contact Raymond on 07540177040. Aimed at families with limited resources who may have otherwise not been able to afford to travel to the game, Raymond had the following to say:

“I have received so much support from my hometown regarding my MND diagnosis that I just wanted to give a small thank you in the hope that it will allow some families to make memories together by attending the game on Monday night.

“I understand the financial constraints which many families currently find themselves under and for some, a trip to Belfast may be a step too far no matter how much they want to attend the game – so I’m keen to ensure these families can make use of the tickets and can guarantee that full confidentiality is assured for those who contact me.”

Those interested in availing of the tickets can contact Raymond on 07540177040.
