LARNE crashed out of the BetMcLean Cup at the quarter-final stage after Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat away to Ballymena Showgrounds.
A Matt Ridley own goal midway through the first half was followed by Daire O’Connor’s second early in the second period as the home side sealed a comfortable victory.
The Invermen are next in action on Friday evening at home to Linfield in a top of the table clash.
