We are delighted to announce the appointment of Shay Kennedy as the club’s new General Manager.

Kennedy joins the team at Inver Park as part of an off-the-field restructure, which will also see existing General Manager Niall Curneen become the club’s Chief Executive Officer.

As part of the role, the incoming General Manager will work closely with existing staff members to oversee daily business operations and to help ensure the club continues its rapid growth, alongside continuing to represent the local community.

Discussing Kennedy’s appointment, CEO Niall Curneen commented:

“Shay’s appointment comes following a small restructuring within the club and we are delighted to have him join our off-the-field team here at Inver Park.

“Our club continues to grow at incredible rate and we are determined to ensure that we continue this upward trajectory by recruiting individuals with excellent knowledge and skillsets, both of which Shay will offer in high amounts.

“I believe the appointment will complement the fantastic team of hard-working staff and volunteers which we already have at our disposal and will allow us continue fulfilling our ‘for the town’ vision of providing a football club which brings pride and enjoyment to our community.”

Incoming General Manager Shay Kennedy added:

“I am delighted to be given the opportunity to join what is already an incredible team here at Inver Park and would like to thank everyone involved within the club for the warm welcome I have received so far.

“As someone who had always been on the outside looking in, the professionalism and brand which has been created over the past six years has helped take domestic football to a new level and that is a testament to everyone who has evidently worked so hard to make what was initially a dream into a reality.

“The culture around the club is incredible and the whole environment feels so positive, I can’t wait to get my teeth into the role and do my bit to ensure we develop on the growth of the past six years and make the community proud.”
