We are delighted to announce that Sean Graham has agreed a long-term contract extension at Inver Park.
Putting pen to paper on a new deal, the 24-year-old joins Aaron Donnelly, Tomás Cosgrove and Mark Randall who have also committed their futures to the club in recent weeks.
Having enjoyed an initial spell at Inver Park as a loanee from Blackpool FC during the 2019/20 season, Graham rejoined the club on a permanent basis from Ballymena United on deadline day of the 2023/24 summer transfer window.
Since arriving for his second spell at the club, Graham’s versatility has resulted in a series of excellent performances both on the left and in midfield, earning him the club’s Young Player of the Year award at the end of last season.
Like all of the players who have committed their futures to the club in recent weeks, Graham’s time at the club has already become the most successful of his career – securing a Gibson Cup and Co. Antrim Shield double and UEFA Conference League qualification during his 12 months back at Inver Park.
Discussing his new deal, Graham said:
“I’m pleased to be able to commit my long-term future to Larne. Getting back into the professional game was important to me when signing for the club for the second time, and I’ve absolutely loved every single second of being back with the club so far, so it was a no brainer to sign once again.
“Both from a team and personal perspective, I think I’ve had a really strong first 12 months at the club, achieving almost everything I set out to do when signing last summer, but I know there’s much more to achieve and that is what excites me.
“I feel as if I’m still young in the game with so much to learn. We’re blessed with an outstanding support system of coaches and staff at Inver who want to help us players improve, I’m confident I can continue going from strength to strength during the rest of this season and beyond.”
Head of Football Nathan Rooney added:
“Sean is a player who has really impressed me since I’ve arrived at the club, so we felt it was really important to get him tied down on a long-term deal as quickly as possible.
“As a player, Sean has plenty of experience for his age with lots of senior appearances under his belt, but we believe he has so much more opportunity for growth at just 24 years of age.
“Following strong recent performances in European and domestic games, we are excited to see how far Sean can push himself to be a fan favourite for many seasons to come, as he has already proven to be a very important player over recent times.”
