We are very pleased to announce defender Ryan Nolan has signed a contract extension at the club.
The 26-year-old central defender arrived at Inver Park in September 2024, following a spell in Spain with Hercules, having enjoy a career which has taken him to four different countries so far.
The County Clare native began his youth career at Inter Milan, having been scouted in Spain, where he spent much of his childhood.
Despite not having signed in time to take his place in the UEFA Conference League squad, Ryan made a telling contribution across the Invermen’s extension domestic campaign in 2024/25.
The former Republic of Ireland under-18 international made 33 appearances in all for the Invermen last term and has now put pen to paper to extend his stay in the NI Football League.
Speaking about Ryan’s contract extension, first team boss Nathan Rooney said: “Ryan is a player who showed his determination and passion for the club since the turn of the year in a very busy schedule, and this was evident within his performances as we secured European football.
“His attitude to work hard for the team has been unquestionable and this is why Ryan has earnt his contract extension and I am really pleased we have secured him for the forthcoming season.
“He a lot more development to add to his game and I know he is really keen to establish himself further as one of the top defenders in the league on and off the ball and I am pleased that he shares the same ambitions to help kick on.”
