FIRST half goals from Andy Ryan and Dylan Sloan earned Larne victory over Ballymena United and maintained their impressive league form.
Ryan nodded the Invermen into an early lead – converting from Tiarnan O’Connor’s cross on his debut.
However, Rohan Ferguson’s slack pass gave the visitors a route back into it, as former Larne man Andy Scott fired home from 20 yards.
Dylan Sloan fired in what turned out to be winner on the stroke of half-time as Larne held on for a win, which saw them climb back into the top half with a number of games in hand on their rivals.
The three points makes it four wins and two draws in the Premiership since the start of December.
