We are delighted to announce the completion of the resurfacing of the Riverside Walkway area of Inver Park, thanks to the Safety Investment Fund from Sport NI.

The resurfacing of the area, which had an overall cost of £25,000, provides a walkway to the McKay Stand at Inver Park and ensures safe entry to the stadium for away fans at each game.

Facilities Director Andrew McNickle is delighted with the improvement works as the redevelopment of Inver continues on all fronts.

He said: “The new concrete surface overcomes Health & Safety issues which we have had for a number of years on this side of the ground.  This will make much safer and further improve the experience for visiting fans at Inver Park.

“Sport NI have been very supportive of the improvements at Inver Park, and this is another example of their commitment and match funding to support our own investment in our facilities.

“Our thanks also go to MWH Groundworks, who secured the tender for the works.”
