All at Larne Football Club wish to send condolences to the family of former Carrick Rangers chairman David Hilditch, following the sad news of his passing.
David served his much-loved hometown team in a number of capacities, such as secretary and Chairman, and was a lifelong stalwart of the club through the last number of decades.
While a passionate advocate of his own club, David also understood the value of working together with other clubs for the greater good of the game in Northern Ireland.
Larne benefited from this on a number of occasions and we were able to count on David as a friend of the club.
His tireless work will no doubt leave behind a lasting legacy at Taylors Avenue and beyond, through his work as a councillor and more recently an MLA for East Antrim.
We remember all at Carrick Rangers and David’s family circle in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
