Larne Football Club has been deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Carol Crawford.
Carol is the mother of Lyn Kernohan & Heather Baxter as well as beloved wife of Adam and part of a family who have supported and served their beloved Inver Reds in a variety of ways for decades.
Earlier this season the Crawford family were honoured when their name was added to the Club Sport Church End stand, in recognition of Lyn Kernohan having stepped down after more than 30 years service on the club’s board and having served in a variety of capacities, including Player Welfare Officer and working alongside club sponsors among a number of other positions at her much-loved Inver Reds.
Both Heather and Adam have also been faithful fans and key figures at the club, both on terraces and behind the scenes.
We take time to remember them and the wider Crawford family in our thoughts and prayers at this time of loss.
