We are pleased to announce the signing of Dutch attacker Randy Wolters, who has joined the club on an initial deal until the end of the current campaign.
Randy, 32, arrives at Inver Park as the next step of a career which has predominantly been spent in his native Netherlands so far. The winger began his playing days at Utrecht, before moving to FC Emmen, Den Bosch, VVV-Venlo and Go Ahead Eagles.
During the 2017-18 campaign Randy had a spell with Dundee in Scottish Premiership, before returning to Dutch football. His last club was Telstar, who operate in the second tier.
Senior men’s manager Tiernan Lynch is delighted to officially welcome Randy to the club.
He said: “Randy has spent a considerable period of time training with us, but most of that time has been waiting on his EU Settlement coming through, allowing him to sign for the club.
“Randy has enjoyed a fine career and is keen to continue that with us. He will bring us great technical ability on the ball, and a lot of experience he has gathered at this stage of his career.
“Having been in and around the club for a number of months he is also well aware of how we work, what we expect and what we’re looking to do, which is a big advantage.
“He has also proven to be a great influence off the pitch and has been working really hard behind the scenes to get himself up to speed for the run-in.”
