Randall at the double in win over Ports

MARK Randall produced two sublime free-kicks within the space of three minutes as Larne recorded a 3-0 win over Portadown at Inver Park on Friday night.

After a scoreless first half, Randall broke the deadlock with a spectacular 30-yard effort on 52 minutes. Not to be undone, he repeated the feat, this time dead centre of goal, finding the top left corner once more.

The points were made safe with the third goal in the space of six minutes, as Paul O’Neill played stike partner Tiarnan O’Connor through on goal just befote the hour mark to confidently slot into the bottom corner.

The win moves Larne into second place in the table, three points behind leaders Coleraine, ahead of Saturday’s remaining fixtures.
