Two goals in the space of six minutes saw Larne fall to defeat against Dinamo Minsk in Baku – the Invermen’s final away game in this season’s UEFA Conference League.
The Invermen had more than played their part in the game until the deadlock was broken from the spot in the 67th minute, courtesy of a controversial penalty kick, converted by Aleksei Gavrilovich.
Minsk then doubled their lead on 73 minutes thanks to Glen Zherdev’s header, leaving Larne searching for their first point going into Thursday’s final League Phase game against KAA Gent at that National Stadium.
