We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Padel Society.
Based in Antrim, Padel Society was founded in 2025 by David McCann and James Palmer who found a passion for the sport whilst on holiday and saw an opportunity to turn it into a business here in Northern Ireland.
Much like us as a club, Padel Society pride themselves on being a place that the whole community can enjoy, offering welcoming spaces and courts where people can meet, belong and enjoy one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.
By striking up a partnership, ourselves and Padel Society believe that with community at the heart of it, we can bring the two sports together and offer opportunities and experiences that will build awareness and engagement through both our fanbases, and through sport in general.
Through the partnership, our senior and academy sides will be able to enjoy active and engaging team building sessions at Padel Society, building their teamwork and camaraderie while learning a new sport.
There will also be opportunities to learn the art of Padel for our supporters through the partnership, with ‘fan days’ to be confirmed at Padel Society, bringing the community together and offering a unique experience for our supporters.
Throughout the course of next season, Padel Society will have a presence at some of our home games at Inver Park, offering supporters the chance to win playing time at their courts through Padel related challenges and general giveaways, while spreading awareness of their brand to our supporter base.
Speaking on the new partnership, Marketing Lead Dean Houston said:
“We’re excited to announce this new partnership with Padel Society.
“Since meeting James and Davy at the end of last year, it was clear to see the passion they had, not just for their business, but for their aspirations of building a community within it and we saw it as the perfect opportunity to bring the two sports together.
“With Padel growing into one of the most popular sports here in Northern Ireland right now and more eyes than ever on the Irish League, we feel that there is great potential to offer something unique to both communities and fanbases through partnerships like this.”
Co-Founder of Padel Society, James Palmer, is excited to get the partnership launched, stating:
“David and I are absolutely delighted to launch this partnership. From our first conversations, it was clear there was a real alignment between both organisations in terms of ambition, community focus, and the desire to grow something special locally.
“Partnering with a club that is flourishing in the Northern Ireland Football League and currently sitting top of the table is a fantastic opportunity for us. There’s a real energy around the club, and we’re excited to be part of that journey.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the senior and academy squads, as well as supporters, to our facility over the coming months. This partnership is about bringing two growing sports together, strengthening our already established community, and creating new experiences that people of all ages can enjoy.”
