LEROY Millar poppued up with the all important winnerr to send Larne into the last 16 of the Irish Cup, with a 2-1 win away to Ballymena United on Tuesay night.
Larne led this 5th Round tie thanks to Paul O’Neill’s strike on half an hour. However the game was level soon into the second half, after Succes Edogun produed a stunning equaliser.
Gary Haveron’s men made sure of Saturday’s last 16 clash away to Warrenpoint when Millar swept home a Tomas Cosgrove cross 18 minutes from time. The former Ballymena man almost added a third late on, but saw his low drive come crashing back off the post.
