LARNE sealed a dramatic comeback victory over Linfield on Friday night thanks to Conor McKendry’s late strike.
The Invermen trailed to Kaulm Thompson’s 31st minute goal, but two substitutes helped to turn the game on its head.
Andy Ryan finished off a good move to draw the game level on 79 minutes, before Conor McKendry produced a cool finish following a period of pinball inside the Linfield penalty area to clinch the 2-1 victory.
It sets up a winner takes all tie in the final game of the season at home to Glentoran, with second place and automatic European qualification up for grabs.
