We are delighted to announce Conor McKendry has rejoined the club, following his departure from Coleraine.
A product of Larne Youth, Conor also had a spell at Glenavon’s Academy before joining Ipswich town in 2015.
He would remain at Portman Road for four years in total, before returning home to join Larne in September 2019.
The diminutive attacker enjoy two seasons at the club before joining Coleraine in 2021, as part of the deal which brough Ben Doherty to Inver Park.
The 25-year-old now returns to the club following the expiry of his contact at the Bannsiders and he said it was an easy choice to put pen to paper for the Invermen.
“I’m absolutely delighted,” he said.
“It all came back so quickly but once I got the phonecall there was no else I wanted to go to.
“When you see how far the club has come on, even in the time I’ve been away, with back-to-back titles it’s great. I want to win trophies and I don’t see anywhere better to challenge for trophies, than Larne.”
Boss Tiernan Lynch was delighted to make Conor his first signing of the summer.
“We know all about Conor’s qualities having worked with him previously and also how we have seen him develop over these last three years of regular football at Coleraine,” he said.
“He offers us a different weapon in attack and we’re looking forward to working with him once more.
“We are pleased to bring Conor back to the club so close to the start of pre-season as we work towards our European ties and the start of a new league season.”
