LARNE recovered from a goal down to win 2-1 at home to Glenavon on Friday night.
The Invermen trailed to Luke Cartwright’s first half header, but levelled less than two minutes into the second period thanks to Paul O’Neill’s deflected effort on a wet and windy night at Inver Park.
Conor McKendry showed composure to finish off some good work from substitute Benji Magee, after the ball broke kindly for him.
The win takes Larne to within a point of leaders Coleraine, with the two sides meeting at the Showgrounds on Tuesday night.
