Dec 19, 2019 | Archive

The Inver Reds travel to Milltown this weekend, taking on a rejuvenated Warrenpoint Town side. Kick-off is 3pm for what is one of the longest away trips of the season for our supporters. Below is everything you need to know before making the trip on Saturday.

Tickets

Admission is payable at the turnstile at Milltown this Saturday, costing £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. For supporters wishing to plan ahead this Christmas, match tickets for our upcoming home games against Carrick Rangers (26th) and Cliftonville (28th) can be purchased online using the following link:www.larnefc.com/tickets/

Travel

Larne NISC bus will depart from the Larne Rangers club at 12.30pm, with a pick-up at Station Road (Larne Football Social Club). At this stage, this is the only bus with spaces remaining. To book a seat, contact our Supporters Liaison Officer Richard Todd. Remaining spaces are limited so supporters should make contact as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

1889 Sports & Social Club

Saturday’s long trip means an early start for supporters, with many leaving before our 12pm opening time. However, upon return we will have the last of our Christmas Party night’s at Inver Park, with live music until LATE for just £5 entry.

Club Shop

Our Club Shop at Inver Park will not be open before the buses leave on Saturday. Instead, we will be operating out of our pop-up shop at 20 Main Street from 6.30pm to 8.30pm every week night of this week. We have a full range of stock available, including Nike merchandise and our brand new 1889 casual wear range.

The Opposition

Saturday’s opponents are Warrenpoint Town, who currently sit bottom of the Danske Bank Premiership on nine points after 20 games. Warrenpoint’s recent form has improved under new manager Barry Gray, with recent wins over Coleraine and Ballymena United.  The last meeting between Larne and Warrenpoint Town saw the Invermen come away with a comfortable 6-0 win at Inver Park on the opening day of the season.
