The Opposition

Portadown come into Tuesday’s game sitting 10th in the table with two wins and three defeats in their last five games. Ben Tilney, currently on loan at Portadown from Larne, will be a big miss for the Ports having scored two in his past three games as he is unable to play against his parent club.

The Inver Reds

Larne will be looking to make it five games unbeaten as they travel to Shamrock Park on Tuesday evening. With three wins in their past four games, Tiernan Lynch’s men will be eager to grab another three points as the race for European spots heats up. Graham Kelly, Albert Watson and Lee Lynch remain doubtful due to injury whilst the rest of the squad should remain in contention.

Last Time Out

The Invermen came out on top of Matthew Tipton’s side the last time these side met just a few weeks ago. An early Andrew Mitchell penalty gave the Reds the lead before Lee Bonis scored late in the first half to ensure the sides went in on level terms at half time. Ronan Hale then secured all three points for the Inver Reds when he scored a superb goal on the 70th minute to make the final score 2-1.
