The Inver Reds continue their Danske Bank Premiership campaign this weekend, travelling to Shamrock Park to take on Portadown on Saturday 19th December (3pm)
TICKETS AND STREAMING
It will be home supporters only at Shamrock Park on Saturday, with no tickets being made available for Larne supporters as a result of restrictions on capacity due to COVID-19 regulations. For those missing out, the game will be streamed live by the media team at Portadown and can be purchased at 247.tv/niprem. As this is an away fixture, Season Ticket holders will not be able to benefit from a free stream.
CLUB SHOP
Want to improve your #MatchdayAtHome experience with some of our new merchandise? Our Club Shop is open daily at 10-4pm / 7-9pm until Friday with household items available such as mugs, coasters, water bottles, posters and much more! It’s not quite as good as being at the game but watching the Inver Reds from home with your new mug is the next best thing!
If you cannot make it to Inver Park, our product range is fully available at www.larnefc.com/shop.
1889 SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB
Unfortunately, the 1889 Club will remain closed until the New Year due to COVID-19 regulations, meaning that we will not be open on matchday.
TEAM NEWS
Mark Randall is once again available for Tiernan Lynch, following a suspension which saw him ruled out of last Friday’s victory over Linfield. Dean Jarvis will also be available for selection, having another week of training under his belt after returning from injury. Lastly, Ben Tilney is also available for selection, having returned to full team training.
Tiernan Lynch’s side are guaranteed to be top of the table on Christmas Day, but will be keen to ensure that remains with a four point lead after this weekend’s round of fixtures.
THE OPPOSITION
The Ports currently sit 10th in the Danske Bank Premiership, four points ahead of Carrick Rangers, who are at the foot of the table. Matthew Tipton will be hoping to get a positive result following a 5-0 loss to Crusaders last Saturday and has hinted that a physical encounter awaits the Invermen at Shamrock Park.
Our trip to Shamrock Park will be the first time which Tiernan Lynch’s side has faced Portadown since the 2018/19 season, during which we ran out winners on three occasions, drawing once.
