Our final pre-split home league game takes place this Friday evening when we welcome Barry Gray’s Warrenpoint Town in an 8pm kick off at Inver Park.

Tickets and Entry

Once again, Friday night’s game will be played behind closed doors due to current Covid – 19 restrictions. We will, however, be providing a stream to allow supporters to watch the game live with all information included below.

Live Streaming

We will once again be providing a livestream of Friday night’s fixture and this can be purchased for £7.50 via the following link: https://www.247.tv/gaa/niprem/video/1175703-larne-v-warrenpoint-town-friday-16th-apr-2021-8-00pm

Joel Neill is on commentary duties for the game, and he will be accompanied by former Larne defender John McKinstry.

The Opposition

Warrenpoint Town come into Friday’s game sitting 9th in the table and are without a win in 10 games. The Point do, however, remain unbeaten against Tiernan Lynch’s men this season and they will be hoping to keep this record intact as they travel to Inver Park on Friday evening.

The Inver Reds

The Inver Reds are 4th in the table as we begin to enter the business end of the season. Last Saturday’s draw against league leaders Linfield, saw the Invermen go three games unbeaten, and they will be hoping to increase this tally on Friday night. Albert Watson and Graham Kelly may remain absent due to injury whilst Lee Lynch is a concern after hobbling off the pitch last Saturday.

Last Time Out

The spoils were shared the last time these two sides met back in February. Larne took the lead early on through a Jonathan McMurray finish and proceeded to dominate much of the game but could not find that second goal and so were punished 10 minutes from full time when Daniel Byrne headed in at the back post to leave the final score 1-1.
