The Opposition

Carrick come into Saturday’s game sitting 11th in the table and have just one win in their last 13 games. They will be looking to bounce back and gain a positive result having been defeated by two goals to nil by Ballymena midweek.

The Inver Reds

The Invermen will be desperate to get back to winning ways following a disappointing defeat against title chasing Coleraine through the week. Fuad Sule will remain on the side-lines as he nears the end of his suspension whilst the rest of the squad should remain available and in contention for selection.

Last Time Out

The Inver Reds ran out 3-1 winners the last time these two sides met just a few weeks ago at Taylors Avenue. Larne took the lead through an Andrew Mitchell penalty after just 10 minutes before Carrick won a penalty of their own which was despatched by Caolan Loughran to bring the game back to level terms. John Herron then restored the lead for the Invermen just before half time and the game was sealed late in the second half when Conor McKendry got his name on the scoresheet.
