The Opposition

Cliftonville come into Tuesday’s game having lost their first game of the ‘Split’. Paddy McLaughlin’s men suffered a two-goal defeat at Coleraine on Saturday past and so will be looking to grab and important three points as the race for European places heats up. The North Belfast side will be without goalkeeper Aaron McCarey after he was sent off during Saturday’s defeat to the Bannsiders.

The Inver Reds

Tiernan Lynch’s men moved up to fourth in the Danske Bank Premiership table after an impressive second half display away at Crusaders on Saturday. Three goals in 15 second half minutes put the game beyond doubt and ensured all three points for the Inver Reds. Conor Devlin is likely to remain on the side-lines along with Graham Kelly and Lee Lynch.

Last Time Out

Neither team could find the net the last time these two sides met back in March with the game finishing a 0-0 draw. The Invermen had several opportunities to get the ball in the back of the net but just did not manage to get past Aaron McCarey in goal and the game ended in stalemate.
