The Opposition

Carrick Rangers come into Tuesday’s game sitting 11th in the table following just one win in eight and a run of three straight defeats. Saturday saw Carrick suffer their worst defeat of the season, losing 7-0 to Linfield at Windsor Park, and will no doubt be looking to bounce back against the Invermen.

The Inver Reds

Tiernan Lynch’s men moved up to third in the table following a dominant victory away at Dungannon on Saturday afternoon. Davy McDaid’s goal just before half-time gave the Invermen the lead at the break and a clever Marty Donnelly free kick rounded off an impressive second half performance to secure all three points. Fuad Sule remains unavailable for selection due to suspension, whilst the rest of the squad should be in contention for a place in the starting line-up.

Last Time Ou

Larne came away with all three points the last time these two sides met back in October. A first half penalty from Andy Mitchell and a header from Mark Randall late in the second half ensured the points for the Inver Reds, in a 2-1 victory.
