The Opposition

Carrick Rangers have had a difficult start to the season with a 5-1 defeat against Linfield at Windsor Park, a game in which they finished with 10 men. Niall Currie strengthened during the summer transfer window with a host of arrivals, including goalkeeper Harry Doherty and Forward Jonny Frazer. Joe Tully, who played at Inver Park for a short period last season has also signed for the Amber Army.

The Inver Reds

The Invermen have had a strong start to the competitive season with a 3-0 win at home to Dungannon Swifts last Saturday. Although back in training, Johnny McMurray and Conor McKendry are not yet ready for selection. Other than this we go into the game with a clean bill of health.
