It’s Irish Cup action this weekend as we travel to Ballyclare Comrades for an East Antrim derby. Kick-off in the Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Cup 6th Round tie is 3pm. It promises to be a great affair and this Matchday Guide will provide you with all the information you need to know before the game.
Tickets and Travel
There are no tickets available before Saturday’s game, with all supporters able to pay at the gate at Dixon Park. Prices have been set at £12 for an adult and £8 for concessions.
All three supporters clubs have buses running to the game. Inver Red and Whites Supporters Club have their buses leaving 1889 Sports & Social Club at 2pm. Larne NISC have their buses leaving Larne Rangers Club at 1pm, picking up at Larne Football Social Club on Station Road before heading to Ballyclare. Larne Bodega Reds Supporters Club has a bus leaving from Q Club Larne at 1pm.
1889 Sports & Social Club
1889 Sports & Social Club will be open from 12pm on Saturday with some great offers! Before heading to the game, you can call in and get a filled soda and a pint for just £5. There will be live entertainment from Daryl McCabe from 12pm – 2pm and more live entertainment when supporters return from the match with Rosie and The Sunshine Band taking to the stage from 7pm – late.
This is the first time the two teams have met in competitive action since Larne’s promotion, after winning the Bluefin Sports Championship last year. Ballyclare, under new boss Paul Harbinson, sit 7th in the Championship table. However, they are on a good run of form, unbeaten in their last five matches, winning three and drawing two.
