MATCH PREVIEW

After a 0-0 draw against Glenavon at Mourneview Park on Tuesday night, the Invermen will be keen to use home advantage to secure all three points against Glentoran tonight.

With the games coming thick and fast for Tiernan Lynch’s side in the Sports Direct Premiership, the Inver Reds will be keen to use this period to climb back up the table after the recent European exploits delayed the start of the league campaign.

Glentoran picked up a 2-0 victory against Loughgall on Tuesday night after suffering back-to-back defeats against Dungannon Swifts and Ballymena United.

The Glens currently sit third in the Sports Direct Premiership standings, just one point behind leaders Linfield and second-placed Cliftonville. A victory at Inver Park tonight would see Glentoran go top of the table until at least tomorrow evening.
