OUR OPPOSITION

Dungannon Swifts come into today’s game after a BetMcLean Cup semi-final defeat to Linfield on Tuesday night.

In the Sports Direct Premiership, Rodney McAree’s have won their last two games against Ballymena United and Newry City.

The two sides last met at Stangmore Park back in October, with the game finishing level with a 0-0 scoreline.

THE INVER REDS

The Invermen come into today’s game on the back of a 2-0 victory against Crusaders at Seaview last weekend.

Tiernan Lynch’s side are on a 16-game unbeaten run in the league stretching back to September and will be looking to continue that with all three points at Stangmore Park.

Today’s opposition are the only Sports Direct Premiership side the Invermen have yet to beat this season, with a 4-4 draw at Inver Park in the season opener and a 0-0 draw at Stangmore Park in October.

UPCOMING GAMES

After today’s game, Tiernan Lynch’s men are back in action on Tuesday night as they take on Glentoran in the Co. Antrim Shield final at Seaview.

The Invermen will then have a quick turnaround to Friday night (26th Jan) as they welcome Newry City to Inver Park in the Sports Direct Premiership.
