We are delighted to announce that Mark Randall has signed a new one-year contract extension, which will see the midfielder remain at Inver Park until at least the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.

The announcement makes Randall the third player to commit their future to the Invermen in recent weeks, following the news that Aaron Donnelly and Tomás Cosgrove have also penned contact extensions.

Having arrived at Inver Park in the summer of 2019, the 35-year-old has made Larne his home for the five years which have followed – becoming a fan favourite due to his technical ability and moments of magic during his time at the club.

During his time at the club to date, Randall has played a part in all of the club’s European campaigns, alongside back-to-back Sports Direct Premiership titles and quadruple Co. Antrim Shield successes.

Fresh off signing his new deal, Randall is keen to build on past success:

“Larne has become home for my family and I since I arrived in 2019 and I’m delighted to commit my future to the club once again.

“I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time as an Inver Red and have had some of the best moments of my career at Larne, and it is clear to me that the entire club is hungry to build and create more success and bring more trophies back for the town to celebrate.”

Head of Football Nathan Rooney added:

“Mark is someone I’ve known for many years in football, so I was already aware of his quality before arriving at Larne, and he has shown both myself and Gary [Haveron] that he still possesses that immense quality with his performances in recent weeks.

“I believe that Mark still has so much to offer us on the pitch, but also as a leader off the pitch. Mark has such vast experience and has been around the game, which is important as we have a young squad who can learn from being around Mark each and every day.

“Overall, I’m really pleased with the progress we are making in terms of contract renewals and we are actively working to get more over the line in the coming days and weeks.”
