We are delighted to announce the signing of Mairead McCann, who joins from Crusaders Strikers.
McCann arrives at Inver Park with a wealth of experience in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership, having established herself as a consistent attacking threat during her time at Seaview. A long-serving Crusaders Strikers player, where she has been for nearly 12 years, contributing important goals and bringing valuable experience at the highest level of the domestic game.
Known for her work rate, physical presence and threat in front of goal, McCann adds strength to the Larne squad as they look towards the business end of the season.
Speaking after completing her move to the Inver Women, McCann said:
“New team, new energy, new challenge. Grateful for the warm welcome from everyone at Larne Women FC and I’m looking forward to playing alongside a fantastic group of girls. I can’t wait to give everything on the pitch and see what this squad can achieve”
McCann’s arrival adds further experience and quality to Inver Women’s squad as Larne continue to strengthen ahead of the remainder of the campaign.
