Goals from Benji Magee and Dan Bent secured Larne a 2-0 win at home to Ballymena United.
Magee struck after eight minutes, finishing off after a good break from Matty Lusty, to open his account for the season.
Ballymena Untied were awarded a penalty just before half-time, but Rohan Ferguson pulled off a fine save to maintain Larne’s lead going into the break.
Despite soaking up pressure from the visitors, Larne had chances to wrap up the victory in the second half, including Conor McKendry hitting the bar, before Dan Bent’s impressive first time finish in the 94th minute made it 2-0.
Larne are next in action on Tuesday night, at home to Queens in the County Antrim Shield.
