MIDFIELDER, Fuad Sule has made a big impression since joining the Inver Reds on loan from English National League side, Barnet.

With Sule’s loan spell due to expire at the end of January, the one question on the lips of Larne supporters throughout the month has been whether ‘Fudzer’ will stay.

In his post match interview following the Inver Red’s 4-0 win against Carrick Rangers at Inver Park, Tiernan Lynch gave an update on the midfielder’s future, “We’re in negotiations. He’s a great kid and he wants to stay.”

“There are certain things we have to sort out with his club, but I don’t have anything to confirm at this stage other than that negotiations are ongoing.”

On the likelihood of any further transfer business this week ahead of the closure of the transfer window, the Larne manager said, “I don’t know, it’s one of those ones where you never know what is going to happen in the next couple of days.

“We are talking to players, but if anything comes over the line, it’ll be a bonus for us.

“If not, I think we have enough in our locker to do what we need to do.”
