Linn PS Brings Premier League to Larne

THE Linn Primary School hosted a BBC Sport Super Movers event on Wednesday, which included a visit from the Barclay’s Premier League trophy.

The school was only the sixth school in the whole of the United Kingdom to host the Super Movers, and as part of the event, the pupils were able to see the biggest prize in English football up close at a special assembly.

That wasn’t the end of the Barclay’s Premier League connection. Larne Football Club was also invited to attend, and the pupils were given an exclusive as they got to meet new loan signings, Isaac Marriott and Dom Tear from English top flight club, Huddersfield Town.

They were also joined by Larne first team fan favourites Ben Tilney and Matty Henry. The club was also represented by Niall Curneen, Andrew Hardy and Chris Liddle.

The players visited each class, taking part in a Super Move dance and Q&A session.

It was an event to remember, and Larne Football Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Linn Primary School for the invitation to be part of such a special event.
