Larne v Barn

Larne v St Mary’s

In the first session of the day, a more physical Barn side showed great possession on the ball and out muscled the Inver Reds. Though going into the second half the girls shifted up a gear and saw great improvement in play, making the pitch bigger and picking their battles. While it was still a loss, the girls showed great character, taking the loss on the chin after the game.

For the second session, the girls faced St. Mary’s. They took the first game as a lesson learnt, heading into the second game with confidence. With superb goals by Anna and Annie, it was a good matchday for the girls heading home.

Larne vs Belfast Swifts

A comfortable win for the girls from start to finish. To their credit, the Belfast Swifts’ defence was stubborn in the second half, toughing up greatly and proving to be a much improved side.

With Mia Snoddy and Morgan Beattie returning from Northern Ireland call-ups, the pair worked like machines and were comfortable on the ball, not letting up.

Goals in this one came from Alix Wilson, Francesca Agnew and Anna Clark, all showing supreme finishes.

This win will give the girls confidence for the future
