Larne v Ballymena United
This was a solid performance from the Larne girls as they pressed well throughout. They moved the ball through midfield and created lots of chances. The players focused on moving the ball into wide spaces and created numerous chances from that approach. The goals came from Roxy, Orla, Emma, Mia, Jessie and Annie saw Larne come away with the win.

Larne v North End
On Friday night Larne started well taking an early lead through Amber but the North End boys quickly bounced back. They took their couple of chances and finished them well. The Larne girls then stepped it up a gear with great passing, communication and general teamwork. Amber scored another 3 and Luci also got her name on the scoresheet.
A special mention to Ellie and Maci who performed well in their first match. They worked hard and never looked out of place for the whole match. Pennie from the under 9s also did a great job helping out in defence.

Larne 2-4 St Mary’s
The u11’s played a bigger St Mary’s team and were a bit intimidated and never really got into their stride and play their normal game.
The Larne girls went ahead with an OG from early pressure. St Mary’s equalised shortly after and took the lead just before halftime.
In the second half the Larne girls came out and pressed a bit further up the pitch and got a goal from Eva McKee who converted from a corner.
With the sun in the Larne keeper’s eyes for the second half, St Mary’s started shooting from distance and got a couple of goals.
It could have been a few more but our Goalkeeper was in great form and made 3/4 great saves in the second half and was the deserved Player of the Match.

Larne 2-4 St Mary’s
The Larne girls again started slow and were not switched on from the start and found themselves 2-0 down.
New player Mia scored 3 goals before halftime to make it 3-2 at the break.
In the second half the Larne girls were a different team and started to dominate the game. With Sophie Jenkins, Cara Noble and Maggie Deller coming close to scoring. There was constant pressure from the Larne girls which Lisburn couldn’t keep up with. Mia scored two more from close range to get five on her debut.
The performance from both halves was night and day.
2013 Team
Larne v Carnmoney
An energetic performance from the 2013 girls as they defeated Carnmoney. The team are beginning to show real game awareness when in possession, their work-rate off the ball was fantastic. They didn’t give Carnmoney a second to settle on the ball.
There is a great base of players developing at this level, everyone performed well in their role throughout.
A strong showing from the whole team but special mentions to Bailie and Annie who chipped in with goals

Larne 1-0 St. Mary’s
This was a great match played at a frenetic pace from the off. Neither side gave away an inch in the early running. Larne battled for every ball on what was a cold and windy afternoon. They didn’t back down in the challenges against a physically imposing St. Mary’s side.
After some great build-up play, Larne took the lead midway through the first half with a well-taken goal from Rebecca Hawkins. Larne tried for and came close to a second but one goal was enough for the victory.
