Larne v Crusaders, Monday 11th November – Matchday Guide

Nov 6, 2019 | Archive

On Monday 11th November, we welcome title-chasing Crusaders to Inver Park, with a 7.45pm kick-off. This is the first game in our history to be televised live on Sky Sports. There will also be an Act of Remembrance ahead of the match. Take a look below for all the details.

TICKETS AND ENTRY

Tickets are now available online for BOTH sets of supporters and can be purchased here: https://www.larnefc.com/tickets/

There will also be tickets available for purchase on the night from Ticket Kiosks set up in the home and away ends, priced at £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. Supporters are urged to avail of our online ticket service as it will speed up entry into the ground. Season Ticket holders can enter using their cards as normal.

The club continues to urge supporters to be mindful of local residents when parking around the stadium. We expect Monday night’s game to be very busy and ask that supporters park in Laharna Retail Park, Riverdale car park or at First Larne Church.

Crusaders supporters are advised that they must enter the ground via the Church Road and will be situated in the Larne Port & P&O Ferries McKay Stand as there will be segregation in place.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop will be open as usual from 6.30-7.30pm on Monday night. There is still a stock of our popular range of winter hats available, priced at just £12.50.

1889 SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB

The 1889 Sports & Social Club will be open from 5pm on Monday night. There will be a promotion on with Bacardi and Ginger Ale with a slice of orange priced at just £4! Local artist Keni Brownlow will be on hand with live music before and after the game.

ACT OF REMEMBRANCE

There will be a short Act of Remembrance ahead of the match against Crusaders. This will get underway at 5.45pm and it is open to all supporters wishing to attend. Among those taking part will be Gareth Clements and club captain Jeff Hughes. We will also have representatives from our supporter’s clubs, the Royal British Legion and Crusaders.

CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL

Larne Football Club’s Christmas Toy Appeal will also be running on the night. Those wanting to donate toys can hand their packaged toys or vouchers in at the club boardroom for collection. We would like to thank all of our supporters for their kind donations thus far!

SHIRT SWAP AND MATCH PROGRAMME

Another edition of our Match Programme will be available for purchase next to the Ticket Kiosk from 6.30pm. Priced at £3, supporters can prepare for the big game by reading the latest interviews and stats, whilst reminiscing at old photos included in the edition. Away supporters will also be able to purchase their copies upon entry to the away end.

This week’s Shirt Swap ballot will be giving away a Mark Randall home shirt. Ballots can be purchased for £1 in the main car park from 6.45pm.

THE OPPOSITION

Monday night’s visitors are Crusaders. Our previous meeting with the North Belfast outfit ended in a 2-2 draw at Seaview, back in August. Crusaders have one win in their last five league matches and will be out to correct their recent form. Stephen Baxter’s side are currently 3rd in the table, with 28 points after 14 games.
