Larne to the four in win over Crues

LARNE made if five Premiership wins in a row when a 4-0 success over 10-man Crusaders on Tuesday night.

Dan Bent opened the scoring after just 11 minutes, pouncing on a mistake in the Crusaders backline, before they reduced to 10 men before half-time when Finlay Thorndike was sent off.

Larne pressed home their advantage with two goals in three minutes at the start of the second half, when Sean Graham finished off Mark Randall’s inviting throughball, before Matty Lusty broke clear of the defence to make it 3-0.

Tiarnan O’Connor came off the bench to collect a pass from Conor McKendry to round off the goalscoring with four minutes left.

Larne are next in action on Saturday afternoon, at home to Carrick Rangers in the derby.
