We are very pleased to announce the signing of forward player Thomas Oluwa from Galway United.
The 20-year-old Dubliner arrives at Inver Park after spending his career to date in the League of Ireland.
Thomas made his way through underage teams at Shamrock Rovers, making his senior debut as an 18-year-old in a 2-0 win away to St Pats.
At the start of the 2021 season, Thomas moved across the capital to join Bohemians, where he would spend the first half of the campaign.
In July he arrived at Galway for a short stint, before moving north to join up with Tiernan Lynch’s men on deadline day.
Boss Lynch is pleased to bolster his attacking options. He said: “Thomas is an exciting young talent and we’re really happy to add him to our squad.
“He can play with pace and directness and operate anywhere across the front three which gives us versatility in that regard.
“He will come and start training with his new team-mates straight away and we’re looking forward to getting him in and integrated with the rest of the boys.”
Thomas is the club’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Mike Argyrides, Rohan Ferguson, Kofi Balmer, Cian Bolger, Ben Doherty and Navid Nasseri.
