Tiernan Lynch’s Invermen will kick-off their 2020/21 Danske Bank Premiership campaign at home to Dungannon Swifts.

Kris Lindsay’s Swifts will arrive at Inver on Saturday 17th October – more than seven months since the stadium will have last seen top  flight men’s football.

Following the season opener, we will make the short trip to take on Carrick Rangers on Saturday 24th October, before finishing the month with a game at home to Irish Cup finalists Ballymena United.

The same two familiar foes will also feature heavily in Christmas and New Year period for the Invermen.

This year Boxing Day sees us make the trip to the Belfast Loughshore Hotel Arena to face Niall Currie’s Rangers, while we have home advantage against Warrenpoint Town on Tuesday 29th December and Ballymena on Saturday 2nd January.

Due to the impact of Covid-19, the season kicks off two months later than usual, with an end date scheduled for late May, once the ‘split’ fixtures have been completed.

Our final game before the ‘split’ is a trip to Irish Cup winners Glentoran on Saturday 24th April.

Portadown return to the Danske Bank Premiership after an absence of three years and our first encounter with Matthew Tipton’s men comes when we visit Shamrock Park on Saturday 19th December.

Details regarding the sale of Season Tickets will be made in due course, with this providing the best way of backing the Invermen ahead of what is shaping up to be an exciting campaign.
