Larne Ladies captain Katherine Haveron admits her side can’t wait to return to competitive action at Inver Park, as her side gets ready for Tuesday’s game against Crewe United Ladies.
The Inver Women will be looking to bounce back from Friday’s loss to Foyle Belles, in what was their first defeat of the season in all competitions.
Katherine Haveron is looking more on the positive side and states that the team can’t wait to play in front of their fans at Inver Park.
She said:”The girls are pumped and ready to play the first competitive match at Inver Park since the 7th March against Crewe United Ladies. We have had a good run at pre-season and the team’s attitude so far has been nothing but outstanding with that willingness to play football and win games.
“Our strong start to the campaign is something we want to continue and there is a sense of pride amongst us all to pull the Larne shirt on and take to the pitch. I can honestly say I haven’t seen the team before with this much desire and hunger to play together and this has shown with the results we have picked up recently.
“On Tuesday, we will walk out on the pitch with that same desire at Inver Park and the whole team are looking forward to returning home in front of the supporters.
“We would call out to the community to join us in this remarkable landmark, which looked a million miles away just a couple of months ago, and show our visitors Crewe United Ladies what it is like to travel to Inver park and play on our home turf.”
Tuesday’s game kicks off at 8pm, with free admission for all spectators.
