Larne 2013 vs Linfield (Cup)

A hard fought battle of a game full of emotion and physicality between two good sides. After a slow start to the game, the Larne side were brilliant throughout and will count themselves unlucky to lose the game.

Emmie created a lot of nice play in the middle of the park and displayed some great runs on the win for Charlie and Eva. Up front, the Larne side showed great strength in their all round game and it is clear to see the progress the team are making. All of the hard work that has gone into the team’s first season in the SBYL league hasn’t gone unnoticed and the side can now enjoy a break before pre-season begins.

Mia Campbell earned player of the match for the Larne side after an outstanding performance, making a number of great saves to keep out the opposition.

Larne 2010 girls vs Larne 2011 boys (friendly)

With a free week ahead of this weekend’s cup semi-final, the 2010 Larne side prepared by taking on their 2011 boys counterparts in a friendly at Sandy Bay.

The 2010 girls side displayed some excellent football throughout the game and showed both sides of their game with some great defending and attacking play on display. Throughout the game, the girls showed great teamwork and showcased their ability through some great goals.

Larne 2014 (White) vs Cliftonville

The Larne side took on a strong Cliftonville team in what was an entertaining and competitive game with plenty of goals.

After an evenly matched first half, the game continued the same pattern into the second half before Cliftonville took the lead late in the game.

However, the Larne side didn’t let their heads drop and continued to push until the end to find an equaliser, and they got their rewards in the end scoring late on.

Overall, a balanced game with Georgia picking up the player of the match award for the Larne side.
